The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has scheduled a mock trading session for the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) segment on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from both the Primary (PR) and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites to enable Trading Members to test and familiarize themselves with trading systems and functionalities.
The following has been stated:
Trading Members using third-party platforms of empanelled vendors or in-house systems through ETI APIs can use the mock session to test various functionalities, including Risk Reduction Mode, Trading Halt and exceptional market conditions. There will be no new BOLT TWS release for the session.
The trading schedule will be as follows:
Log-in: 09:15 am to 10:00 am
Pre-Open (PR): Order Entry 10:00–10:07 am; Matching 10:08–10:15 am
Continuous Trading (PR): 10:15 am to 12:00 pm
Switchover to DR: 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm
Pre-Open (DR): Order Entry 12:45–12:52 pm; Matching 12:53–01:00 pm
Continuous Trading (DR): 01:00 pm to 02:45 pm
Closing: 02:45 pm
Trades executed during the mock trading session are only for testing and familiarization and will not attract any margin, pay-in or pay-out obligations, nor create any rights or liabilities. Members are requested to participate actively and provide their feedback on the mock trading session by 4:00 pm.
